I've tried countless methods to keep myself organised and improve my habits over the years, from hand-written calendars to apps like Todoist and Any.do but none of them stuck. Incentives were a great way to keep using a system however without a seamless way to reward myself, I found I was spending more time managing the details behind the method than actually using it.
Over the last year I have been tasked with creating a leaderboard for a series of volunteer-led events centred around a location-based game. Since the volume and complexity of the information collected was initially low, the quickest solution was to use one Google Form and some charts to display the results. It was a solution that didn't last long.
